Questions
- How do I check my Dota 2 inventory value?
- Sign in through Steam, or paste your Steam ID, profile URL or vanity name and press Appraise. Every cosmetic in your public Dota 2 inventory is fetched from Steam and valued against current Steam Community Market prices.
- Do I need to enter my Steam password?
- Never on this site. Sign-in uses Steam's official OpenID flow, which happens entirely on steamcommunity.com — we only receive your public Steam ID. You can also skip sign-in and just paste an ID. Nothing is stored on our side.
- Why does it say my inventory is private?
- Steam only exposes inventories marked public. In Steam, open your Profile → Edit Profile → Privacy Settings and set Inventory to Public, then try again.
- How is the total value calculated?
- Each item is matched to its current lowest Steam Community Market sell listing and multiplied by how many you own. Unmarketable or unlisted items count toward your item total but not the market value.
